Freddie is an American sitcom from the year 2005. The main actor Freddie Prinze Jr. wrote to the scenarios with and acted as co - producer of the series. The frame story is based on Princess childhood experiences. The series was no longer produced after one season with 22 episodes.
Action
The chef Freddie Moreno has its own, successful Italian restaurant in Chicago. His private life is determined by the four women with whom he lives. His sister Sofia with her daughter Zoey, his widowed sister in law Allison and his Puerto Rican grandmother, who speaks only Spanish, mix in Freddie's love life and determine a large part of his daily life. Regular guest is Freddie's good friend Chris, who is exactly like Freddie still looking for the woman for life.

The sitcom received mostly negative reviews. John Leonard wrote on 2 October 2005 at New York Magazine, Freddie " was not funny and a bad sitcom" ( not funny anywhere, and as a bad sitcom ). Tom Shales noted in the Washington Post of 12 October 2005, " the best strategy in terms of Freddie is likely to wait until the director's cut on DVD is, in two or three hundred years " (The best policy with regard to " Freddie " is probably to wait for the director's cut on DVD in two or three hundred years ).
