Jacqueline Obradors

Jacqueline Danell Obradors ( born October 6, 1966 in San Fernando Valley, California) is an American actress. She is married to actor Juan Garcia.

Life and achievements

Obradors first emerged mainly in television series on, in the action film Red Sun Rising ( 1993) she played a small supporting role. In the action film Soldier Boyz - The Event (1996 ) she appeared as Vasquez on opposite Michael Dudikoff. In the action film Six Days, Seven Nights ( 1998) she played the role of Angelica opposite Harrison Ford and Anne Heche. For this role she was nominated in 1999 for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award.

In the comedy Tortilla Soup - The Spice of Life (2001) she played the role of Carmen Naranjo, the daughter of Martin Naranjo, the Hector Elizondo played. For this role she was nominated in 2002 for the American Latino Media Arts Award. From 2001 to 2005 she played the role of policewoman Detective Rita Ortiz on the television series NYPD Blue. For this role she was nominated in 2002 for the American Latino Media Arts Award. In the action film Unstoppable (2004) she starred opposite Wesley Snipes one of the main roles. In the sitcom Freddie, she played in the 2005 and 2006 alongside Freddie Prinze Jr. the role of his sister Sofia.
