Fredrik Lundgren

Fredrik Lundgren (born 26 October 1979) is a Swedish football player. The midfielder has denied virtually his entire career at GAIS, while over 200 appearances for the club.

Career

Lundgren began playing football at Torslanda IK. As a young player, he moved in 1999 to GAIS in the second class Division 1 In his first season he was used seven times and reached with his club the runner-up in the Südstaffel. In the subsequent relegation matches succeeded by a 2-1 win and a 1-1 draw against Kalmar FF promotion to the Allsvenskan. Here he came, although increasingly used, at the end of the season but was relegated as a table Penultimate directly back to the club. In the Superettan he sat down finally as a regular player through, but the crash was followed in the third division. In the following years he was a regular player again and bore 2005 with five goals this season for promotion back to the Allsvenskan in. Also in the first division of the now ascended to the captain midfielder is one of the permanent employees who helped the club to places in the rear mid-table. Therefore, he extended his contract in May 2008 to three seasons. He then continued to strain force before briefly stopped him in the fall of 2010 an injury, so he only played 18 season games in the 2010 season.
