2010 Allsvenskan

The Fotbollsallsvenskan 2010 was the 86th season in the highest Swedish football league Fotbollsallsvenskan. Between 14 March and November 7, 2010 were the 16 first division in return game against each other to determine the Swedish champions. Malmö FF distanced in a duel to the end of season Helsingborgs IF to two points and won the 16th league title in club history.

Mode

The standings after the last game is a Swedish national champion and taking part in the qualifiers for UEFA Champions League 2011/12 part. Course of the season

The season started with a 3-0 away success of the IFK Göteborg at Kalmar FF on March 13th of the year, the victors chose to also on the leaders of the first game day. In the rear third of the table occupied for Siaonsmitte AIK, Åtvidabergs FF and Trelleborg FF of the relegation zone, with 15 plus points but had AIK FF Trelleborg and only three points behind the space occupied by IFK Göteborg ninth place in the table.

After a small series winning loose games, the projection of Helsingborgs IF Malmö FF shortened to 19 Round to only one point. Two days later MFF game took over after a 1-0 win against IF Elfsborg due to a 0:3 away defeat of the competitors at Örebro SK for the first time the standings during the season. As a result, a duel between the teams developed, from 24 Matchday were the two clubs level on points at the top. Until the last match Malmo FF was on the first place on goal difference. By a 2-0 win against Mjallby AIF on the final day of the club claimed the first place and won the championship. Helsingborgs IF occurred in parallel event match against Kalmar FF only to a 0-0 draw. Still, the playing time for the club was not without winning the title, one week after the end of the season the team the cup final decided in his favor.

Behind the leading duo broke out of the battle for second Europa League starting place. At the end of the second third of the season to Örebro SK and IF Elfsborg had sold some of the competition, which formed a close together lying midfield. On fourth- last match was a preliminary decision, was able to extend his lead over the competitors on five points as ÖSK. On 23 matchday of the club jumped to a non- relegation zone and displaced AIK and IF Brommapojkarna on the following places. Placed after 16 match days even with 22 points in the front half of the table remained Bromma in the following games until the end of the season without a win and slid to the bottom of the table. With three games left in the season, the club finished tied with Gefle IF the relegation places, the distance to the space occupied by Åtvidabergs FF relegation place was already four points. After a win over GAIS and a draw against Djurgårdens IF Gefle IF exchanged but on goal difference with the competitors on the pitch. Although AFF was the last match points against AIK, Gelfe IF retained after a 2-2 draw at IFK Gothenburg to 0:2 behind the upper hand and took refuge in the play-offs.
