1964 Allsvenskan

The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1964 was the 40th season of the Fotbollsallsvenskan, the highest Swedish football league. Between 12 April and 25 October 1964, the Swedish football champions was played in it.

After five years of absence Djurgårdens IF brought to a total of seven times the von Rosen's Cup as Sweden's champion and for the third time the Swedish championship title as the winner of Allsvenskan. In a powerlifting title on the last game decided in the final minute, a penalty of DIF player Bernt Andersson and thus better a goal goal difference compared to the point - and gegentorgleichen rivals Malmö FF in favor of the Association of Stockholm. Although Örgryte IS was also in points, but had a clearly inferior goal difference to have. The IFK Eskilstuna Movers and GAIS occupied the two relegation places and had to directly go back to Division 2.
