1970 Allsvenskan

The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1970 was the 46th season in the highest Swedish football league Fotbollsallsvenskan. Between 12 April and 25 October 1970, the Swedish championship was played.

Malmö FF supplied with Åtvidabergs FF a duel for the championship MFF ultimately could decide for themselves and for the eighth time the von Rosen's Cup took. Last year's champion IFK Gothenburg found himself in a relegation battle and were relegated to the second division on the final day after a defeat in a direct duel against fellow competitors Örebro SK.
