Friedel Berges

Friedel mountain ( born October 23, 1903 in Darmstadt; † August 13, 1969 ) was a German swimmers. He won the 1926 and 1927 European champion title in the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay.

Career

Friedel mountain of Young Germany Darmstadt took in 1926 the first European swimming championships. About 400 meters freestyle, he won the bronze medal in 5:25,6 minutes behind the Swede Arne Borg and the Leipzig Herbert Heinrich. Over 1500 meters freestyle also won Borg; about forty seconds behind the mountain reached in 22:08,2 minutes as the second goal in the Magdeburg Joachim Rademacher. The single season decision, the 4-by- 200-meter freestyle relay, swam the German squadron August Heitmann, Joachim Rademacher, Friedel mountain and Herbert Heinrich in 9:57,2 minutes to victory against the Hungarians and the Swedes. The following year, the German squadron defended in the same occupation in 9:49,6 minutes the title from the Swedes and Hungarians. At the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam mountain difference over 400 meters freestyle from in the flow. The medal chance in the season missed Karl Schubert, August Heitmann, Friedel mountain and Herbert Henry by disqualification in the flow.
