Friedl Däuber

Däuber Friedl ( born January 5, 1911 in Berchtesgaden, † May 1, 1997 ) was a German alpine skier and cross-country skiers.

The Berchtesgaden won at the World Ski Championships 1932 in Cortina d' Ampezzo the gold medal in the slalom. The World Ski Championships 1931 in Mürren he won the bronze medal in the slalom.

Däuber was also a successful cross-country skier. He finished sixth over 18 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1933 in Innsbruck. In 1933, he also became German champion season. Däuber in 1935 Holmenkollen participants. At the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, he finished sixth in the relay 4 x 10 km and 29 in the competition over 18 km.
