Fright Night 2 - Fresh Blood (Original Title: Fright Night 2: New Blood ) is an American horror-comedy from the year 2013 and a continuation of Fright Night from 2011, although not an actor from the first film will resume his role. Director is Eduardo Rodríguez, and produced the film by Michael J. Gaeta and Alison R. Rosenzweig. Rosenzweig was also on the first part producer. The feature film was released on October 1, 2013 in the United States on DVD.

Action

The high school student Charley Brewster takes part in a residency program in Romania. He is accompanied by his friend "Evil" Ed and his ex-girlfriend Amy Peterson. There, Charley meets the professor Gerri Dandrige, which turns out to be a vampire. He watched as she pursues vampiristischen activities. He caught her and she then makes hunting him and his friends. It is especially behind Amy ago, whose virgin blood is the right medicine for her, so she receives eternal life. Charley and Amy looking at the TV - vampire hunter Peter Vincent. This, however, does not believe them and has yet to be convinced.

The Direct - to-video film was mainly shot in Bucharest and Hunedoara, Romania. The film has no ties to its predecessor Fright Night, except the title name. The roles of Charley Brewster, Amy Peterson, Ed Lee and Peter Vincent that were played in the first part of Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Christopher Mintz- Plasse and David Tennant were occupied by Will Payne, Sacha Parkinson, Chris Waller and Sean Power.

The publication took place on October 18, 2013 in the United States on October 1 and in Germany.
