Gabe Gauthier

Gift Gauthier ( born January 20, 1984 in Torrance, California) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2011 in the Augsburger Panther in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Gift Gauthier began his career as a hockey player with the Chilliwack Chiefs, for whom he was active from 1999 to 2002 in the Canadian Junior Football League British Columbia Hockey League. Then he attended from 2002 to 2006, the University of Denver, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. With the team he won the 2004 and 2005 NCAA championship in 2005 and also the championship of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. From 2006 to 2010, the Center for the Manchester Monarchs ran in the American Hockey League and participated in the 2008 AHL All- Star Classic part. During the same period he also came to eight appearances for their cooperation partners Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League. The 2010/11 season he spent with the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL and the Victoria Salmon Kings in the ECHL, but came in the course of the season only to a total of six missions.

For the 2011/12 season Gauthier has been committed by the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
