Gail Berman

Gail Berman ( born August 17, 1956) is an American television producer and former president of the entertainment division of the Fox Broadcasting Company, as well as the former president of Paramount Pictures.

Life

Berman graduated in 1978 at the University of Maryland. With a college friend, Susan Rose, she took over in 1982, the co- production of the Broadway play Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In the same year, the co-production of Almost an Eagle followed in 1984, the drama Hurlyburly, 1985 Blood Knot and 1987 The Nerd.

Berman later turned to television production and was executive producer on some series of FOX Networks as Malcolm in the Middle, Buffy - the Vampire Slayer and Angel - Hunters of darkness. Berman is married to screenwriter Bill Masters and has two children.
