Galeria Mokotów

The Galeria Mokotów is one of the largest and most popular shopping centers in Warsaw. It is located in the district of Mokotów, where it was opened as the first shopping mall in the third generation of Warsaw in 2000.

History

The shopping center is at the intersection of busy Ulica Wołowska and Aleja Wilanowska. In the north and east, the smaller Ulica Ulica Antoniego Uniechowskiego and Rodziny Hiszpańskich surround the complex. The development company Galeria was the Globe Trade Centre, which began in the late 1990s with the establishment of the first part of the plant. In September 2000, the Centre was opened and was integrated with its leisure facilities, the most advanced of its kind in Poland. In the years 2002 and 2006, the center was expanded to its present dimension. Effective June 30, 2003 Rodamco Europe bought (today: Unibail -Rodamco SE) 50 % of the building and took over the administration. At this time, the center was valued at a price of $ 166 million. A further 50 % Unibail -Rodamco acquired in summer 2011.

Equipment

The Galeria Mokotów has claimed the cultivation measures today a lettable area of 62,500 square meters. The approximately 260 shops spread over three floors. The food is anchored by Carrefour, the supermarket is spread over two floors. Especially in the food court on the third floor is home to over 20 restaurants and cafes, including Pizza Hut, McDonald's and Häagen- Dazs. The entertainment area of Galeria consists of a multiplex cinema chain Cinema City, which operates 14 Säale, and the Atomic Bowling Center, located on an area of 3,000 square meters, 25 bowling lanes, a billiards room, plenty of toys and a conference room for 60 people. The fitness chain Holmes operates a 1,700 square foot health club. Infants will be issued in a Fikoland called preschool. The parking garage of the center extends over the entire basement and a four-storey part of the plant. It contains 2,400 parking spaces.

The annual number of visitors in the center is about 13 million.
