Gaspar Llamazares

Gaspar Llamazares Trigo ( born November 28, 1957 in Logroño, La Rioja ) is a Spanish politician. He followed in 2000 by Julio Anguita Izquierda Unida as leader of the coalition ( German: United Left ) to; in October 2008 he was in this function replaced by Cayo Lara. In the Spanish general election, 2011, he was elected as an MP in Asturias.

He is the second oldest of six children, and he studied medicine in Madrid and Oviedo.
