Gastón Mazzacane
Gastón Hugo Mazzacane ( born May 8, 1975 in La Plata) is an Argentine racing driver who was also active in Formula 1.
Career
His motorsport career began in 1989 with the Mazzacane karting. In 1992 he drove touring cars and was then active in Formula 3. On 12 March 2000 Mazzacane made his Formula 1 debut for the Minardi team. In 2001, he went for the Prost team at the start and was the first four races. After the Grand Prix of San Marino at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, the hapless Argentine was replaced by Luciano Burti. He drove since no formula 1 race more.
In the second half of 2004, he drove in the American Champ Car series.
