Gavin Smellie

Gavin Smellie ( Gavin Ramon Smellie; born June 26, 1986 in Papine, Saint Andrew Parish ) is a Canadian sprinter of Jamaican origin.

At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009, he retired about 200 m from the quarter-finals. In 2012 he was one of the Canadian relay that broke in London at the Olympics in the final of the 4 x 100 - meter relay in third place. However, the Canadians were disqualified after it turned out that her third runner Jared Connaughton had crossed his path.

In 2013 it reached at the World Championships in Moscow more than 100 m the semi-finals and won with the Canadian 4-by- 100-meter relay bronze.
