General-Anzeiger

The General-Anzeiger is a regional daily newspaper. The distribution area includes the city of Bonn, the Rhine -Sieg district, the Ahrweiler district and the northern district of Neuwied. The publishing house of the General-Anzeiger ( Bonn newspaper printing and publishing house H. Neuss GmbH) was founded in 1725 as Hofdruckerei Elector Clemens August of Leonhard Rommerskirchen. It is located in the tenth generation owned by the Neuss family. Under its present title of General-Anzeiger published since 1889.

Since 2005, the Cologne-based publishing group M. DuMont holds as cross-ownership to an ownership of 18% now; Neuss GmbH in turn owns 9.02 % of shares in M. DuMont.

Together with other regional newspaper publishers Neuss GmbH holds center at the regional online classifieds portal kalaydo.de (since March 2006), the local radio station Radio Bonn / Rhein-Sieg and the local television channel the Bonn newspaper printing and publishing house H..

The General-Anzeiger appears with a circulation of 74 663 copies from Monday to Saturday in nine regional editions, each with differently weighted local parts:
