General Guido Partido

General Guido is a Partido (administrative unit ) in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires. The Partido had in the census 2001 2.771 inhabitants - in 2010 estimated the INDEC, the population of the Partidos to 2,758.

Administrative center is the same place General Guido, a second place in the Partido exists with Labardén. The Partido General Guido is surrounded by the Partidos Dolores, Ayacucho, Pila and Maipú.

History

The Partido Partido del Vecino was created in 1839 by decree of the Governor Juan Manuel de Rosas by dividing the Partido Tandil. 1865, the territory of the partidos was reduced, until 1888, a first place at the previously established in railway station Velázquez was founded. 1891 Finally, this settlement was named General Guido - 1926, the Partido was renamed General Guido. In the 1940s, the population of the partidos was about 5,000 people, and since then the number decreases gradually.
