Geography

Genieri located in the Lower River Region in the District of Kiang East. The small town is around 1.5 kilometers from Kaiaf and is located north of the South Bank Road, The Gambia 's main highway. Soma, the largest city of the division, is located about 9.8 km east on the South Bank Road.

Between Genieri and Kaiaf the 26 -acre Kaiaf Forest Park is located. The Konowo Forest Park is located three kilometers west of Genieri.
