Georg August Rudolph

August Rudolph ( born September 25, 1816 in Kassel, † December 13, 1893 in Marburg ) was a German jurist. Over 30 years he was mayor of Marburg.

Life

Rudolph was the son of the city architect and ways Commissioner Heinrich Rudolph. He studied law and Kameralwissenschaft at the Philipps- University of Marburg and was in the Corps Guestphalia Marburg (1834, 1840) and Teutonia Marburg active.
