George J. Rassas

George James Rassa ( born May 26, 1942 in Baltimore, United States) is Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago.

Life

George Rassa received on 2 May 1968 with the Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal John Cody, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 1 December 2005, he was named Pope Benedict XVI. Titular Bishop of Reperi and appointed him auxiliary bishop in Chicago. The Archbishop of Chicago, Francis Cardinal George, OMI, donated to him on February 2, 2006 the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Piura, José Antonio Eguren Anselmi SCV, and the Bishop of Tucson, Gerald Frederick Kicanas.
