George Mary Searle

George Mary Searle (* June 27, 1839 in London, † June 27, 1918 ) was an American astronomer and clergyman.

In 1858 he discovered the asteroid (55 ) Pandora. In addition, he discovered six galaxies. In advanced age, he joined the Catholic order of the Paulist Fathers in and taught at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC
