Georges Fonghoro

Georges Fonghoro (* June 30, 1958 in Yele, Mali ) is a bishop of Mopti.

Life

Georges Fonghoro received on 30 December 1987 by the sacrament of Holy Orders.

August 30, 1999, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Mopti. The Archbishop of Bamako, Jean Zerbo, donated to him on 8 January 2000, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of San, Jean -Gabriel Diarra, and the Bishop of Nouakchott, Martin Happe MAFR.
