Geraldine McCaughrean
Geraldine McCaughrean (born 6 July 1951 in Enfield ) is a British children's book author.
In 2005 she was selected by the rightholders of Peter Pan, the Great Ormond Street Hospital, to write a sequel, Peter Pan in Scarlet (German Peter Pan and the red pirate ).
McCaughrean has written over 130 books, including six historical novels for adults. She lives with her husband John and her daughter Ailsa in Berkshire.
