Geraldine McCaughrean

Geraldine McCaughrean (born 6 July 1951 in Enfield ) is a British children's book author.

In 2005 she was selected by the rightholders of Peter Pan, the Great Ormond Street Hospital, to write a sequel, Peter Pan in Scarlet (German Peter Pan and the red pirate ).

McCaughrean has written over 130 books, including six historical novels for adults. She lives with her ​​husband John and her daughter Ailsa in Berkshire.
