Gerhard Tweraser

Gerhard Tweraser ( born September 29, 1988 in Bad Ischl, Austria ) is an Austrian racing driver. In 2012 he takes in the ADAC GT Masters.

Career

Gerhard Tweraser came at the age of 6 years by his stepfather motorsport. In the same year he made his first experience in karting. He started out with national karting hall, where he secured the title in the first year.

After several years of karting experience Tweraser 2004 increased the Sichtungslauf the Formula Lista junior for the first time in a single-seater. His first year in Formula racing, he finally spent 2005 in Formula Lista junior. There he secured a victory in five races and four podiums. 2006 remained Tweraser in Formula Lista junior. For starting Neuhauser Racing, he finished each of the twelve races on the podium and won with ten wins the championship. In the same year he took up in the Swiss Formula 3 Championship. He won three races there and eventually became vice-champion.

2008 Tweraser moved to the German Formula 3 Cup and stayed with Neuhauser Racing. He won two races and finished the season as the best Austrian in eighth place in the championship. After Tweraser had paused in 2009, he joined in 2010 for Neuhauser Racing in the ADAC Formula Masters. He finished five races on the podium and finished the championship in fifth from.

2011 moved Tweraser in touring car racing. This season, he takes in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo.

Personal

According to his statements at the high school and a college of engineering of the Austrians completed a professional training as a car engineer at Mercedes- Benz and worked a total of five years in this profession. Meanwhile, the 22 -year-old working in his father's company.
