Get Lucky (English for " Get Happy " ) is the sixth solo album by British musician Mark Knopfler. It was released in Europe on 14 September 2009.

Background

The album was in Knopfler's own studios, the British Grove Studios in London, recorded and released on September 14 in Europe. In Germany, the album, like their previous Kill to Get Crimson, 2nd place achieved in the album charts. Knopfler was supported in his album of many musicians with whom he had collaborated on previous albums. On his sixth solo album, Knopfler remains true to his style and incorporates some folk and blues elements. Thematically, the album offers a broad spectrum. From the life of a truck driver in Border Reiver about his deceased uncle in Piper to the End through to the assessment of the luthier Monteleone. The first single from the album is Border Reiver and is reminiscent of a Scottish folk song.
