The Getz Ice Shelf is an Antarctic ice shelf panel which is about 480 km long and 32-96 km wide. It is bordered by Hobbs and Bakutis the coast of Marie Byrd Land between McDonald Heights and Martin Peninsula. Several large islands such as Dean Island and Grant Island are partially or completely embedded in the ice.

The part of the panel, which is located west of Siple Island, was discovered in December 1940 by the United States Antarctic Service. The eastern part was first mapped by air photos taken in Operation High Jump from 1946 to 1947. The entire panel was mapped by the United States Geological Survey by Navy air photos from 1962 to 1965. It was named from the USAS by George F. Getz from Chicago, who had helped in raising the seaplane for the expedition.
