Geylang International FC

The Geylang International Football Club is a football club based in Singapore. He plays in the highest league of Singapore, the S. League. The club is located in the Bedok area. From 1996 to 2012, the club was active as Geylang United Football Club for season 2013 we took back to the old club name.

Club History

The club was founded under the name of International Contract Specialists 1974. 1975 was the club in Geylang International and renamed in 1996 with the introduction of the S. League in Geylang United. The club played in both the unofficial National Football League (1975-1987) and the Premier League ( 1988-1995 ). In the Premier League, was the dominant club, with six championships in a row from 1988 to 1993. Geylang was a founding member of the S. League and became its first master, 2001, one could retract this item again. In addition, you could win the national cup twice, in 1996 the then Singapore FA Cup and the 2009 Singapore Cup.
