Giacomo Zappacosta

Giacomo Zappacosta (born 21 April 1988, in Chieti) is an Italian football player who is at SS Barletta Calcio since 2011 under contract.

Career

Giacomo Zappacosta began his career with the club Pescara Calcio, where he was admitted to the 2005/06 season in the first team, but until the end of the season played a single League game. His professional debut was the midfielder 10 June 2007 in the away match at the U.S. Lecce, the game was lost 4-1 and end of the season he went down with Pescara from the B series. In the following season, he received only sporadic intervention in the Biancoazzurri and completed only three league games, all of which both ended in a 1:1 draw. For the season 2008/ 09 Zappacosta moved on loan to Premier League rivals Pro Patria Calcio, where he was a key player of the team in a short time and a total of 28 games completed. On 14 September 2008 he scored in a 4-0 victory over AC Monza Brianza be the first Profitor. He took the end of season with Pro Patria to the play-offs for promotion to Serie B in part and failed in the finals against Calcio Padova.

After the failed climb the midfielder returned to the 2009/10 season back to Pescara. In the course of the season, he received the Abruzzo club more match practice and ran it often as a substitute onto the field.

End of the season 2009/10 with him Pescara reached the summit in the second highest league. In the play-off finals, the team won against Hellas Verona.

Since 2011, Zappacosta is at SS Barletta Calcio under contract, the 2012/13 season, however, spent on loan at U.S. Lecce.
