Gian Carlo Capicchioni

Gian Carlo Capicchioni ( born February 19, 1956 in Borgo Maggiore) is a politician from San Marino. He was elected for the term of office from 1 October 2013 to April 1, 2014, together with Anna Maria Muccioli to Capitano Reggente (Head of State ) of San Marino.

Capicchioni has a degree as an accountant and is employed by the tax authorities. He took effect in 2005, the PSD one. From 2003 to 2006 he was Capitano ( mayor) of Serravalle. In 2006 he was elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale in the sanmarinesische Parliament. In the parliamentary elections of 2008 and 2012, he was re-elected. He is since 2006 a member of the Permanent Committee on Finance and belonged from 2006 to 2012 to the Council of Twelve ( Consiglio dei XII ) to. From its foundation in 2011 until November 2012 he was a member of the Anti- Mafia Investigation Committee ( Commissione antimafia della Repubblica di San Marino).

Capicchioni is married and has one son.
