Giancarlo Ferrari

Giancarlo Ferrari ( born October 22, 1942 in Abbiategrasso ) is an Italian archer who participated five times in 1972 to 1988 in the Olympic Games.

The only 1.66 meters wide Ferrari took at the age of nearly thirty years for the first time in the Olympic Games in part because until 1972 the archery after 52 years of interruption was back on the Olympic program. After his 33rd place in 1972, he spent four years later at the Olympic Games in Montreal successful and won bronze. At the World Cup in 1977 Ferrari was with the team in second place. 1980 in Moscow Ferrari won an Olympic bronze medal again.
