Gideon Patt

Gideon Patt (Hebrew גדעון פת, born February 22, 1933, Jerusalem) is an Israeli politician. In the late 1970s and the early 1980s, he held several ministerial posts.

Gideon Patt was born during the time of the British Mandate for Palestine in Jerusalem. He was first taught at a religious school and Merkaz Harav yeshiva in the. Then he went to the USA where he worked with Nahum Goldmann. He has an economics degree from New York University with a BA completed in Economics. His military service in the Israeli army he completed at the Nahal. In the parliamentary elections of 1969, he was placed by his party at number 27.
