Gilles Binya
Gilles Augustin Binya ( born August 29, 1984 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian football player at the position of a defensive midfielder.
Career
Binya began his career at Nassara Yaounde, Yaounde and Coton Sport Garoua Constallacio which he was available from 2001-2003 as a player. In 2003, he came into the first team of Tonnerre Yaoundé, where even players like Roger Milla, George Weah Rigobert Song or under contract.
In 2004 he moved within Africa for MC Oran in Algeria, where he was under contract for three years. After a relatively good performance in Oran the top club from Portugal Benfica became aware of him and signed him in 2007 for about 300,000 euros. Under Jose Antonio Camacho he matured to use player. His debut for Benfica he gave on September 23, 2007 against Sporting Braga, where he cashed a yellow card. The game ended goalless. This season he made his debut in the UEFA Champions League. In the 1-2 defeat against AC Milan in the group stage Binya came on in the 73rd minute for Miguel Vítor. Three more games followed ( Shakhtar Donetsk, 2 times Celtic Glasgow ). In the second match against Celtic Glasgow Cameroon fouled the Scots Scott Brown so rough that he got it aufgebrummt a six - game suspension.
After another season at Benfica with inserts in the UEFA Cup and only seven league inserts ( where he cashed curiously, five yellow cards) and winning the Taça da Liga Binya was the beginning of the season 2009/10 awarded to Switzerland to Neuchatel Xamax. He made his debut on August 9, 2009 against FC Lucerne, where he played again and saw a yellow card.
Binya took in 2008 after he was appointed in October 2007 first described by Otto Pfister in the national team of Cameroon, at the Africa Cup 2008 in Egypt in part. He came in all games except in the third group game against Sudan for use, but he never played through. In the first group game against Egypt, he got yellow and the second against Zambia he could accrue from the beginning, but this was the only time. In the final, again against Egypt, Binya came on in the 17th minute for Alexandre Song, but could not prevent the 0:1.
