Gilles Jaquet

Gilles Jaquet ( born June 16, 1974 in La Chaux -de-Fonds ) is a Swiss snowboarder.

He drives since 1995 Snowboard World Cup and has so far reached 15 World Cup victories (FIS Tour and ISF tour). At the FIS Snowboard World Championships 2001, he won the gold medal in the parallel slalom. In the 2001 /02 season he was champion of the ISF tour. He has participated three times at the Olympic Winter Games and reached the best ranking 8th place in Turin in 2006.

Gilles Jaquet has a university degree in mathematics and physical education. He lives in La Chaux -de-Fonds.
