Gilles Peterson

Gilles Peterson [ pi ː dʒɑɪls təsən ] (* 1964 in Caen, France ) is a British DJ and record label owner.

Peterson grew up in South London. Mid -1980s, he coined the term Acid Jazz for a style of music that was heavily influenced by jazz and funk of the 1970s, and founded in 1988 along with Eddie Piller Acid Jazz label.
