GintarÄ— Scheidt
Gintarė Scheidt (born Volungevičiūtė; born November 12, 1982 in Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Lithuanian sailor.
Gintarė Scheidt is the first Lithuanian athlete at the Summer Olympics in sailing (Laser Radial) won a silver medal. On 19 August 2008 she finished with 42 points Rank 2 in Qingdao. So she was one of five medal winners of the Lithuanian team at the Olympic Games 2008.
Gintarė Scheidt graduated after high school at the Kaunas Vyturio middle school the bachelor's program and since 2007 she is studying in the master degree sports management and tourism at the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education.
Scheidt Gintarė deals with sports since 1991. Their coach is Linas EIDUKEVICIUS. My first coach was Raimondas Komskis. In October 2008, she married the Brazilian sailors Robert Scheidt.
