Girugamesh

Girugamesh (also:. Girugämesh ,ギルガメッシュjap, engl Girugamesshu of Gilgamesh ) is a J- rock group whose lyrics often treat the themes of war, prison, lies and betrayal.

Band History

2004

Girugamesh was early 2004 Cyrien (vocals), Hotaru (guitar), ShuU (bass, formerly Kagerou roadie ) and Яyo (drums) founded. Cyrien and Hotaru left Girugamesh in the same year. For them, Satoshi (vocals, formerly Venom ) and Nii came (guitar) in the group.

They gave their first concert on March 24 in Motoyawata Route 14 At the same time they also released their first demo tape Kosaki Uta ~ kata Kaijou Enban ~, which was limited to 100 pieces. After a few live performances, they released their first maxi-single Kaisen Sengen ~ Kikaku Kata Enban ~. The single placed on 10th place on the Oricon Indie Charts. The end of 2004 they released their second maxi-single Kuukyo no Utsuwa ~ kyosaku Kata Enban ~.

2005

In February 2005, Girugamesh started their Winter Tour 2005 Fuyu no Yukidoke Tourou. In March, the DVD Kindling Vol 1 appeared on the Girugamesh alongside bands such as Vidoll Phantasmagoria and can be seen live performances. On April 15, the band Girugamesh and Marusa together gave a concert at Takadanobaba Area. After this concert, the band released a CD Coupling: Senyuu Kyoutou Uta. The CD includes a song each of the two bands.

From May 29 to July 17, Girugamesh were more concerts. The final concert took place at a packed Meguro rock june kan. The single Fukai no Yami appeared on 14 September 2005.

2007

As of 2007, the singles and mini-albums the group will also be published in the German music label Gan -Shin. Girugamesh occurred at " J- Rock Revolution " concert in Los Angeles next to groups like MUCC, D' espairsRay and Merry. Another concert appearance had Girugamesh in Cologne on the J -Shock Festival. In summer the mini album Reason of Crying, and in December the album Girugamesh appeared.

2008

In early 2008 gave Girugamesh within their European tour stupid tour '08 and Others concerts in Munich and Bochum. Another appearance was Girugamesh on the metal festival in Wacken.

2009

Late 2008 and early 2009, two months Girugamesh "Crazy Tour 08-09 " in Japan. Then they went to " Crazy Tour 09 " by Europe and the " Girugamesh Tour 2009 ( Summer Evolution) ".
