Giulio Falcone
Giulio Falcone ( born May 31, 1974 in Atri ) is a former Italian footballer who was active during his playing career for Torino Calcio, Fiorentina, Bologna FC, Sampdoria and Parma. In addition, he completed a game for the Italian national football team.

Giulio Falcone began his career in the youth team of Torino Calcio, for the first team he in the 1993/94 season his first two games in Serie A completed. The defender was in his third season, when he was employed in 21 games an integral part of the defense of Piedmont teams. After the descent in the summer of 1996 he left the club and signed a contract at Fiorentina. Also at Fiorentina, he belonged to the tribe squad and qualified as a fifth of the 1997 /98 UEFA Cup. The following season he won with Florence the third final rank.
In the summer of 1999 he went to league rivals FC Bologna. After he struggled to avoid relegation in the first two seasons with Bologna, he placed the team in the 2001/ 02 season in seventh place, thus participating in an international cup competition was just missed. In the following season, Falcone was the Emilian team secure the league and then moved to Sampdoria. While placement in mid-table reached in his first season with the Blucerchiati, he qualified in the season 2005/ 05 as a Fifth -placed for the international cup competition.
Here, the Portuguese representative Vitória Setúbal was defeated in the first round before Genoa failed in the group stage after losing against RC Lens. Although Falcone still belonged to the tribe of the Genoese squad, the renewed participation in the UEFA Cup was missed in the following two seasons. The experienced defender was signed in the summer of 2007 at FC Parma. Second last in Serie A, he was relegated with a club to Serie B for the first time in his career. A year later, managed the defender with Parma return to the top flight. Then he ended his active career.
National
Falcone was first appointed in 1993 by then- coach Cesare Maldini in the squad of the Italian U- 21 team, for whom he made his debut on 18 November 1993 in the match against Luxembourg. His last game for the U -21, he played on 21 February 1996 against Hungary. The defender completed on 16 August 2006 against Croatia, his only match for Italy.
