Giżycko County
The powiat Giżycki ( German: Kreis Lötzen ) is a powiat in the eastern part of the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It includes the Masurian Lakes region around the Mauersee and is clockwise from the counties Węgorzewo ( in the north), Gołdap, Olecko ( German Oletzko ), Elk ( German Lyck ), Pisz ( German Johannesburg ), Mrągowo ( German Sensburg) and Kętrzyn ( German Rastenburg ) enclosed.
The district area is not identical to the previous circle Lötzen. As the county Węgorzewo was separated on 1 January 2002, the church remained Kruklanki, which formerly belonged to the circle Angerburg, the District Giżycko.

The district includes six municipalities, which are divided into townships, urban / rural communities and rural communities:

- Giżycko ( Lötzen ): 29 788 inhabitants
Town and Country Town:
- Ryn (Rhein): 5,745 inhabitants
Rural communities:
- Giżycko country: 8019 inhabitants
- Kruklanki ( Kruklanki ): 3,119 inhabitants
- Miłki ( Milken ): 3,805 inhabitants
- Wydminy ( Widminnen ): 6,499 inhabitants
