Glappa of Bernicia

Glappa (also: Clappa ) ( † 560 ) was from 559 to his death in 560 King of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Bernicia.

One of the few sources to provide Glappa the Moore Memoranda constitute from about 737 in which Glappa was called between the kings and Ida Adda with a one-year reign as king Bernicias. Details of his life and his reign are unknown. In the earlier research Glappa was sometimes interpreted as son of King Ida of Bernicia.
