Glenburgie is a whiskey distillery in Forres, Morayshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.

History

Glenburgie was founded in 1810 as Kinflat Distillery by Willam Paul. Officially, the production of the distillery 1829. 1870 began Kinflat was closed. In 1878 she opened under the name Glenburgie - Glenlivet again. Charles Hay is the license holder. In 1884 the distillery was sold to Alexander Fraser & Co.. When they went into bankruptcy in 1925, Donald Mustad took over the lead at Glenburgie. In 1927, she was by James & George Stodart Ltd.. acquired. Production

The water belonging to the Speyside distillery comes from local sources close to the distillery. The malt comes from foreign maltings (Robert Kilgour in Kirkaldy ). The distillery has a mash tun ( mash do ) ( 4.7 t ) of stainless steel fermentation tanks and thirteen (wash backs) ( per 23,500 liters ). Samples

Glenburgie is primarily part of the known blends Ballantine's and Teacher's. As the original filling came out in 2002 a 15 year old single malt in the Special Distillery bottlings series of Allied.
