Glentoran FC

The Glentoran Football Club, also known as Glentoran Belfast, is a Northern Irish football club based in Belfast. Currently the club plays in the first Northern Irish league. The club colors are green, red and black.

History

The club was founded in 1882. The Glentoran FC is one of the most successful clubs in Northern Ireland. For the first time the club won the championship in 1894. The club was a total of 24 times champion, 21 times cup winner and seven times League Cup winners.

Youth Academy in Ghana

The association maintains the native to Sunyani Glentoran Football Academy, a charity that acts as an international farm team at the same time. The Academy was founded with the help of the FIFA players' agent Christopher Antoh Forsythe and based in Belfast Ashfield Boys High School in 2007 and is thus intended to youths from the street wegzuholen.
