Gloucester is located in the north of the Hunter Valley, near the east coast about 260 km north of the city of Sydney. The area includes 66 districts and towns, including Barrington, Cobark, Copeland, Gloucester, Rawdon Vale, Rookhurst, Stratford, Upper Bowman and parts of Bundook and Craven. The seat of the Shire Council is located in Gloucester, where about 2,400 inhabitants.

Management
