Gödel Prize

The Gödel Prize is awarded annually since 1993 for outstanding publications in theoretical computer science from the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science ( EATCS ) and the Association for Computing Machinery ( ACM) Special Interest Group on Algorithms and Computation Theory ( SIGACT ACM ). It is endowed with $ 5,000 and is on the STOC ( Symposium on Theory of Computing ) of ACM in the U.S. or the corresponding European Conference, ICALP (International Colloquium on Automata, Languages ​​and Programming ) awarded. The work must not be older than 14 years ( initially even no older than 7 years).

The award is named after the eminent logician Kurt Gödel.
