Godfrey I, Count of Namur
Godfrey of Namur ( 1080 testifies; † August 19, 1139 ) was Count of 1097 Château- Porcien ( uxor nomine ) and from 1102 Count of Namur. He was the son of Count Albert III. and Ida of Saxony, the heiress of Laroche.
He married his first wife in 1087 by Sibylle of Chateau -Porcien, daughter of Count Roger and Ermengarde, of which he was divorced by 1104. Sibylle married his second wife Withier de Vitri, Count of Rethel. From this marriage she had two daughters:

His second wife Gottfried married around 1109 Ermesinde, † 1141 daughter of Count Conrad I of Luxembourg and widow of Albert I of Eguisheim, Count of Dabo, † 1098 children of the couple were. :

1121 Gottfried founded the monastery Floreffe. 1136 his wife was Ermesinde by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa considered heiress of the county of Luxembourg, as he the county Henry the Blind, the oldest son of Godfrey and Ermesindes transferred.
