Frankenstein's hellspawn (Japanese地球 攻撃 命令 ゴジラ 対 ガイガン, Chikyu kogeki meirei: Gojira tai Gaigan ) is a Japanese film directed by June Fukuda. This is the twelfth part of the Godzilla series of the Toho studios. The film was produced with a lower budget than the previous films in the series. Therefore, many film clips of previous movies were recycled for this ( for example, command out of the darkness ).

Action

A group of aliens in human form apparent attempts to conquer the earth and destroy cities, and then subsequently to colonize them. You work in an amusement park, modeled in a Godzilla Tower. To this end, they call two monsters from outer space: Gigan and Ghidorah. The manga artist Gengo Kotaka learns of these plans in his work for the aliens. With the help of a found audio tape that plays Gengo, he calls Godzilla and Anguirus cause. The four giant monsters eventually fight against each other, the "good" monster Godzilla and Anguirus finally win with the help of Gengo and his friends destroy the tower of the aliens.

Worth mentioning

A striking feature of the film are the many originating from earlier films parts. Is particularly striking example, the sudden change from day to night during the main fight of the four monsters. Were combined here with new scenes which command from out of the darkness or Frankenstein's monster in the fight against Ghidorah ( Ghidora, the Three -Headed Monster). The entire film music is not new. It comes entirely from earlier films ( for example, war in space ).

Reviews

" Mixture of horror and science fiction movie with some ironic approaches, staged by the Honda pupils Fukuda; trick technically more often found on the naive and adventurous level. (TV title also: " Godzilla and the giant beetle" ) "
