The Office Golßener country was formed in 1992 in a office in Brandenburg, where the original nine municipalities in the former county Luckau had (now the district of Dahme -Spreewald, Brandenburg ) together to form a management group. The seat of the official administration was in town Golßen. By incorporations and municipal mergers, the number of official member municipalities had recently reduced to four communities. On 1 January 2013, merged with the Office Unterspreewald to the new exchange Unterspreewald based in Golßen.

Geographical location

The office was in the southwest of the district of Dahme -Spreewald in Brandenburg ( Germany ). It bordered on the east by the Office sub- Spreewald, to the south by the official free city Luckau, in the southwest and west by the Office Dahme / Mark ( Teltow -Flaming ) and to the northwest and north by the official free city Baruth / Mark ( also Teltow- Flaming ).

  • Drahnsdorf with the districts Drahnsdorf and Falk grove and the inhabited parts of the municipality Krusty and Schäcksdorf
  • Golßen with the districts Mahlsdorf and Zützen and the inhabited parts of the municipality Altgolßen, Gersdorf, Landwehr, Prierow and Sagritz
  • Kasel- Golzig with the districts Jetsch and sliding village and the municipality part Zauche
  • Stone area with the districts Glienig and Sell village and the municipality of parts Damsdorf, Schenkendorfstraße, chief village and Schoeneiche

History

The Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg issued on August 15, 1992, his consent to the formation of the Office Golßener country. As the time of conclusion of the Office August 20, 1992 has been set. The office was located in the city Golßen and initially consisted of nine municipalities in the former county Luckau:

On 1 May 1998, the municipality Mahlsdorf was incorporated into the city Golßen. As of 31 December 2002, the municipalities Glienig and Sellendorf merged to church stone kingdom. On the same date the municipality Zützen in the city Golßen was, and the communities Jetsch and sliding village incorporated into the municipality Kasel- Golzig; and the communities Drahnsdorf (Official Luckau ) and Falk grove merged to form the new municipality Drahnsdorf.

Demographics

The population of the Office Golßener country has decreased over the twenty year anniversary of the Office by over 900 people. The final figures are not yet available (currently only the population of end of September 2012 available). After the Brandenburg Official Rules ( § 3 para 1 ) a public official should have at least 5,000 inhabitants. This number was exceeded in 2003, a reorganization of the municipal structure was therefore actually already overdue.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on 6 May 1997. Blazon: " In Green accompanied a bent- plate of the middle of golden lace, is on a green ground linkshin border, gold - reinforced black boar, the upper right corner of a golden wheel and to the left of the three bound sheaf golden ears of corn. "

Flag

The flag consists in suspension on a cross of wood from two longitudinal stripes in the colors green and yellow with the coat of arms placed in the middle office.
