Gonzalo Vicente

Gonzalo Miguel Vicente Maillot ( born December 22, 1979 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football player.

The defender started his career at CA Peñarol in 2001, then moved in 2002 to El Tanque Sisley around a year later to the Apertura 2003 Liverpool Montevideo to close. From there he made his way into the 2004/05 season with the Italian club SSC Venice, for which he 27 games ( one goal) in the Serie B completed. He returned in 2005 then back to Liverpool. There he still belonged in the Apertura 2006 squad. In this last half of the season he stood twice for the Montevideaner in Uruguay's top flight in the square. His sporting career he continued in the 2006 /07 continued on loan in Europe. In 19 games, where he stood in the Liga BBVA ( no goals ) for Real Valladolid on the court. He then moved to 2007/08 season within the league to FC Cadiz, where he worked in 20 games (ken gate) was used. In the 2008 /09 season he was after the end of the lending again in the 2008 /09 Liverpool in Montevideo under contract ( three scoreless appearances in the Apertura 2008) and played in the 2009/10 season for Racing Club de Montevideo ( three games in the Clausura 2009, one in the Liguilla Pre Libertadores ), for which he was also active in two clash of the Copa Libertadores in 2010. His path led him to the following season in the Uruguayan capital to league rivals Wanderers. There he played in the 2010/11 season 22 matches in La Liga.
