Gordon Kennedy (actor)

Gordon Kennedy ( born February 22, 1958) is a Scottish actor. He grew up in Tranent, East Lothian, and attended George Watson 's College in Edinburgh. Then he graduated from the Scottish School of PE at Jordanhill College (now part of the University of Strathclyde ).

He became famous with the Scottish sketch show Absolutely. He also presented on the side of Anthea Turner, the National Lottery show. He participated in several television movies, including the role of Sergeant Bruce Hornsby in drama Red Cap. He also appeared in the broadcast by BBC Scotland soap opera River City.

From 2006 to 2009 he starred as Little John in all three parts of the BBC series Robin Hood.

Trivia

In 2007 he retired during the filming of Robin Hood a torn ligament in his leg. When he was admitted to a hospital in Budapest, he wore the costume film, however, he had moved out, to cool the injury with ice cream his pants. Due to its appearance and the fact that he does not speak Hungarian, he was held by the hospital staff for a tramp. A member of the production clarified the misunderstanding, so that Kennedy could eventually be treated.
