Gordon Lowe

In 1915 he won the Australian Tennis Championships as the second foreigner after Fred Alexander 1908. In the final, he defeated the Australians Horace Rice in four sets 4:6, 6:1, 6:1 and 6:4. In the doubles competition, he lost this year with his partner Rodney Heath against Clarence Todd and Horace Rice after he was back in 1912 failed in the final with his partner Alfred Beamish to Charles Dixon and James Parke.
