Graham Norton
Graham William Walker ( born April 4, 1963 in Bandon, County Cork, better known by his stage name Graham Norton ) is an Irish actor, comedian and television presenter.
Career
Graham Norton grew up in his native town of Bandon, until he left the University College Cork to take in San Francisco at the Central School of Speech and Drama drama classes. 1992 Norton caused quite a stir when he appeared as a transsexual version of Mother Teresa at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, because the Department of the Scottish television for Religious Affairs mistakenly assumed he represented the real Mother Teresa.
Norton first appeared in the early 1990s in broadcasting on BBC Radio 4 in appearance, where he hosted the show Loose Ends, early Saturday morning.
Euro vision
Graham Norton hosted the Euro Vision Dance Contest 2007 in London, as well as the Euro Vision Dance Contest 2008 in Glasgow. In addition, Graham Norton replaced in 2009 Sir Terry Wogan as presenter of English preliminary decision for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, " Your country needs you ," and as a commentator for the BBC during the Song Contest.
